Why This Project Matters

So many times we say we want to make a difference, make an impact, touch a life, but we never step out to do anything. We say we are waiting on God to show us what to do, when sometimes all we need to do is take that first step in faith. Or we think the little we can do will not be enough to make a difference.

For this run I want to take a few steps towards making a difference in the life of one child or as many children as this contribution can help. I am not a runner. So I want to walk this 5K to touch the life of a child. I have seen the difference one step, one positive word, one touch can make in the life of a child.
